Our Story

Our primary objective at PAC Center of Healing and Wellness, LLC is dedicated to to assisting individuals who have endured trauma and are facing various mental health issues. Our overarching aim is to extend our services to a diverse range of individuals.

In 2019, Kim Sanders established and conceptualized PAC Center of Healing and Wellness, LLC, with a mission to provide essential support to vulnerable children, adolescents, and families grappling with traumatic experiences and mental health challenges.

Kim Sanders

Owner/LPC

Hello there! I’m Kim, and I’m delighted that you’re interested in the PAC Center. Kim boasts a wealth of experience in the realm of mental health, with a remarkable 15 years under her belt. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree from Lebanon Valley College and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University. Kim holds licenses as a professional counselor, a certified trauma professional, a play therapist, and is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Her expertise extends to a wide array of therapeutic modalities, including behavioral therapies, family therapy, trauma-focused approaches, play therapy, art therapy, and sand tray interventions, all while emphasizing attachment theory. Kim is well-versed in treating conditions such as grief, anxiety, depression disorders, trauma, social skills deficits, and autism.

Collaboration and a team-oriented approach are cornerstones of Kim’s practice. She enjoys working closely with diverse providers, fostering a collaborative environment that not only ensures continuity of care but also enhances support for the clients she serves. Kim’s passion for helping others shines through, and she’s thrilled for the opportunity to make a difference in York County. Above all, she endeavors to create a safe and welcoming environment for all clients who visit the PAC Center.

Heather Merkert

Greetings! I’m Heather, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of the PAC Center of Healing and Wellness team! My deep passion lies in assisting individuals, children, and families in navigating trauma, fostering effective communication skills, establishing meaningful attachments, and fortifying their relationships. I firmly believe in the power of collaborative therapy and am profoundly grateful for the openness of all our clients, allowing me to accompany them on their healing journey.

With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve honed my expertise in various areas, including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family dynamics, life stage transitions, adjustment challenges, attachment concerns, schizophrenia, and autism. My professional training encompasses a wide range of modalities, including Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Interventions, and Grief and Loss support. Additionally, I hold certification as a Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapist.

Andrea Snyder

BILLING SPECIALIST

Hello, I’m Andrea, and I proudly serve as the Billing Specialist at the PAC Center of Healing and Wellness. My educational background includes a degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University. Over the past 12 years, I’ve gathered a wealth of experience, having worked as both a substitute teacher and a Patient Service Specialist at a medical office.

When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me enjoying quality time with my loved ones and friends. I’m also passionate about crafting and exploring new travel adventures in my free time.

Alexandra King

Hello! I’m Lexi, and I’m absolutely thrilled to become a part of the PAC Center of Healing and Wellness team! My journey here started as an intern, and I’ve had the privilege of being with PAC Center for about a year now. Currently, I’m on the path to becoming a licensed professional Counselor, and I’m deeply invested in my ongoing education and growth.

In my work, I’ve specialized in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) interventions, and I’m diligently working towards my certification in this area. Additionally, I have a background is in Cognitive Behavioral therapy approaches, play therapy, and art interventions, which I’ve found incredibly enriching in my practice. My experience extends to working with children, adolescents, and young adults facing various challenges such as trauma, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, behavior concerns, Attention Deficit Disorder, and Autism.

Above all, my approach is rooted in warmth and genuine care for every individual who walks through my door. I’m here to offer support, understanding, and a safe space for healing and growth. Looking forward to welcoming you into our space at PAC Center!

Tabbetha Stike

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Hello, I’m Tabby, and I am pleased to serve as an administrator at the PAC Center of Healing and Wellness. I am passionate about healing and mental health, and have been in the field for 10 years. My educational background includes a degree in psychology from Millersville University. I have a certificate as a trauma informed professional through Lakeside Global, and a certificate as an eco-systemic family therapy professional through the Philadelphia Child and Family Training Center. I have experience as a family-based therapist and outpatient counseling.

While not at work, you can usually find me spending quality time with my family and friends. We love being outdoors and making the most of our time together. My goals are to provide safety and professionalism to your experience here at the PAC Center of Healing and Wellness!
